Where has the time gone? I'm right there with you, feeling all the feelings that go with being the mom of a senior. The excitement, pride, disbelief and so much love.
Most of us have so many photos of our seniors as little kids. But as they grow, there seems to be less opportunities to capture beautiful images of them. I love a good selfie, but honestly, how many actual printed images do you have of your senior during their high school years?
This period of life is fleeting, and goes so fast. It is worthy of being celebrated and documented in a beautiful way. I am a senior portrait photographer based in Minneapolis, MN – and serving the Twin Cities metro area.
I have been a professional photographer since 2007, but have had my face behind the camera as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a makeshift darkroom in our basement, and I still remember the joy of seeing the images magically appear in the developer tray. Digital photography continues the magic - just without the toxic chemicals!
Photography allows me to capture life's moments, big and small, through images that celebrate life, mark time and spark memories.
