On a freezing cold Saturday these two just melted my heart!  Annie and Jack have been together since 10th grade, and when you see them together you just know they were meant to be.  They have such an easiness about them, and the afternoon was filled with laughter and smiles.  Jack has a passion for skydiving, and his bright yellow parachute was a perfect accent to the bright white snow.  Hopefully the cold and snow will all be a memory, and we will have lots of green in time for your May wedding – I can’t wait!

Julie and Luke met while in college where she was a trainer for his university baseball team.  Sports still are a big part of their lives, and I think it is fitting that Julie and I first met while running on the treadmill!  These two had a spectacularly windy but lovely wedding day.  The reception couldn’t have been more fun.  The dueling piano players kept everyone laughing and singing the night away.  What a fun way to end a fabulous day.  Thanks to both of you for the honor of documenting your wedding.  Happiness always!

From the very moment Kristin and Jeremy saw each other on their wedding day, I knew they had something special.  There was such happiness surrounding the two of them, and the love they have for each other is so sweet and genuine.  In so many of my favorite images, they are kissing each other, and it wasn’t that I told them to kiss, it was just so natural for them.  I had such a great time and loved being a part of this special day.  Thanks to both of you, and happiness always!

I had such a great time with Nicole and Adam on their wedding day.  Nicole was so completely organized, and the day went so smoothly.  Their family and friends were tons of fun, and from start to finish the day was filled with joy and smiles all around.  One of my favorite moments was when Nicole put on her dress and saw how incredibly beautiful she looked. I truly love capturing the emotions that accompany this day!  After the ceremony Nicole and Adam rode off on a vintage bicycle built for two.  The details at the reception were beautiful, and the cheesecake bar was a huge hit.  Thanks so much for giving me the privilege of sharing your amazing day!

Bailey and Ryan have a beautiful love story. They met and dated throughout high school and dated long distance through college.  They’ve both just graduated, and are now happily married.  Their wedding day started off really rainy, but there wasn’t a single complaint, even while standing in a near downpour on the golf course for their pictures.  Bailey was beautiful, calm and confident throughout the day, and Ryan was just beaming. Their wedding party was such a fun group, keeping me laughing throughout the day.  They’ve got a bright future ahead, and I wish them both so much happiness!

We started our engagement shoot at the St. Croix Winery in Stillwater.  It was bustling with people, but we were able to find some quiet space to capture these two.  They are high school sweethearts, and it is easy to see why they are crazy about each other.  The fall weather was perfect, and I had a great time getting to know them a little better.

Jessica and Brian picked a gorgeous fall day to get married!  We had a great day in St. Cloud, and I loved photographing them in a fabulous classic car in front of the old “Frency’s” Restaurant sign.  The restaurant is no longer open, but their parents have fond memories of eating there when they were young, and the sign still stands!  We also spent some time at the beautiful Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud.  Jessica and Brian were so at ease and I enjoyed seeing the various locations in St. Cloud that had special meaning to them as a couple.  Congratulations to both of you, and thanks for letting me document your wedding day!

Joy and Jonathan first met at Caribou, so it made perfect sense to theme their wedding around something they both loved…coffee!  From the cake to the coffee bar to coffee beans in the centerpieces, the details were exquisite.  They are simply an adorable couple, and the happiness that surrounded them was so genuine and full of love.  But, most adorable of all is their son Caelum, who was the handsomest groomsman ever in his little mini tuxedo.  He was a champ all day, and didn’t complain a bit… even when he was wheeled down the aisle in his beautifully decorated portacrib!  Rather than having a receiving line, Joy and Jonathan chose to greet their guests while personally serving wedding cake or cheesecake (coffee flavored of course) which was a wonderful touch. The wedding and reception were both held at the University of Minnesota’s McNamara Alumni Center.  It was a spectacular evening, and I wish the three of you the happiest of days ahead!

A sneak peak of Alaina and James’ beautiful wedding at Thompson Park in St. Paul.

Heather and Joel met me at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and we managed to avoid the rain that had come and gone all afternoon.  It was overcast, but the clouds were amazing, and the sun came out and shone brightly for us towards the end of our shoot.  You can just feel that there is so much love between them when they are together, and it was fun to spend some time getting to know them.  Their wedding is coming up in a few months, and I look forward to being there.
